Honeysuckle print

I discovered a lovely print in a book called Victorian patterns & designs for artists and designers edited by Carol Belanger Grafton. It's based around the honeysuckle flower, the original had a black background and I inverted it in Photoshop and added cream to the background. I kept the rest of the card pretty simple, adding text using Anna Griffin sentiments on a richer cream card and finally I added the yellow gold satin ribbon to lift the card.

Here's a couple of cards I created over the weekend. I made the background paper using the Laura Ashley traditional stamp with white acrylic paint. The blue and white was Wedgwood inspired, the vintage lace just seemed to work well with the feel of the card and the satin ribbon finished things off nicely.
