You might have spotted the news yesterday over at the Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog that I've joined the WMS Design team!! (along with two other super talented ladies Kelly and Becca!) Yay! Super excited. Today is release day two and we're previewing Say it Loud - Autumn/Winter, such a cool set, you know how I love my big sentiments! It's a 6x8 inch set. I've also snuck in a little peek of some of the elements from another set we're previewing tomorrow Hocus Pocus!
The two funny crows are from the Hocus Pocus set and I just perched them on top of my Halloween sentiment from Say it Loud - Autumn/Winter. The orange paper I stamped with a motif also from the Hocus Pocus set, it makes a super background!!
As you can see I'm still terribly addicted to ruffles, I'm going to have to do a little tutorial, you have to join me in this fun trend. You too will be addicted! The purple paper I stamped using Text-It from Waltzingmouse Stamps.
Today is also The Friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz and the theme is Halloween of course!!
Of course today is also Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge day, here's my card for that!
Here's the sketch! I took some liberties!
Ok, I'll be back tomorrow with some more previews. Here are the other Design Team ladies sharing previews today! Don't miss them, they are AMAZING!!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the DT! Love the cards you made. The stamps are awesome! Love the crows perched on the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteI can not wait, CAN NOT WAIT, to learn how to make those ruffles! They are gorgeous and I remember you used them a few weeks ago too. They look so much like fabric, I would never have know had you not said so. You have really inspired me today, I will be spending a fortune this release and your cards are partially to blame!
ReplyDeleteI love those crows - I have a funny story about crows in Ireland (too long for here) when I was there visiting once, a long time ago now - it concerns my appalling Irish accent and repeating what was said to me by a lovely old Irishman. So seeing those little ravens makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteClaire, congrats on DT! I love your Halloween cards. I too, can't wait for the ruffle tutorial. I thought it was fabric, it looks so real! The added touch of the birds is perfection. Have followed you for awhile, love your work!
