CASE Study #96 - Birthday Cheer

Thursday, June 21, 2012

Hello! It's a special CASE Study this week because it's our teammate, the lovely Amy Wanford's birthday!! SO, Happy Birthday Amy!! I hope you have a fabulous day! Oh and check out Amy's new, soon to be released, very own stamp set, it's called 'Oh Deer' from The Crafts Meow! I've seen the sneak peeks and it looks adorable. Go Amy! : )

It's week three with Joy Taylor as our muse. I'm really enjoying the inspiration! Here's Joy's super duper card this week! I CASEd the embossed background, use of blue, stitched border and banner sentiment.

As usual I couldn't resist some feminine touches, the flowers, the pink! I just can't help it! : ) The fab sentiment is from Sticker Sentiments - Birthday by SRM Stickers.

The pretty pink flowers are from the Bloomscape Ephemera Pack by K& Company. The Pale Blue Saddle Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon is from Craft Fairy. The green Baker's Twine is from The Twinery.

I love this hexagon embossing folder, it's called Hexagon Illusion from Craft Concepts. You wouldn't think florals and hexagons would work!

I really hope you get a chance to play along with us at CASE Study this week, we can't wait to see what you create. Visit the rest of the DT for some more inspiration! Have a great day! : )

  1. Oooh, love the colours on this one! :) Absolutely beautiful! Love how you've embossed the background, and the wa you've wrapped the green and white twine around the card to divide the blue and brown, simply fabulous!

  4. Clare, you took this a whole different direction but you didn't loose the inspiration - I can see it in the embossed background and the layering of your flowers - beautiful. I love the aqua blue and those pink flowers together!
