Just popping in with one of the cards I had on The Craft' Meow blog yesterday on combining sentiments. I love combining sentiments from different stamp sets to make something new.
I'm totally in love with the new Circle It stamp sets, I just love the font!! Here I combined it with a sentiment from Vintage Clocks. The Mandarin twine is from SRM Stickers.
The flowers from Happiness Is I stamped onto some patterned paper from Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Collection from American Crafts. I added some subtle shading using Distress Markers - Scattered Straw, Mustard seed on the flower and Bundled Sage on the leaves. Pop on over to The Craft's Meow blog to see my second card on combining sentiments. Thanks for stopping by! : )
Just a little update on my new stamp designs, which I'm so excited about. I'm going to have three stamp sets released in the August release with The Craft's Meow, I can't wait to share them with you, but I have to!! I really hope you love them! : )

Hi! It's our final week with the talented Jocelyn Olson as our muse at CASE Study. Check out Jocelyn's fabulous card this week! It's stunning!
I was definitely inspired by Jocelyn's card to try something new. So to create my background, I used a few different techniques, the pink dots I created using the Swiss Dot stencil from The Crafter's Workshop and some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink (using the blending tool). For the yellow bit I used the blending tool and Mustard Seed Distress Ink directly over the dots, then I opened up my Mustard Seed Distress Stain (I took the top off), dipped in a paintbrush and flicked it at my cardstock, nerve wrecking stuff! : )
I stamped the sentiment over my inked background using the new Welcome to the Office stamp set from The Craft's Meow, I love the size of the sentiments in this set, nice n' bold.
I added some Washi tape to the top and bottom of my card base echoing Jocelyn's design. Considering this card was largely experimental I'm pretty happy with the results. I'm definitely loving stencils now, can't wait to add a few more to my stash!!
Don't forget to visit the CASE Study blog and check out what the rest of the design team have created!
Oh and don't forget about the upcoming celebrations, should be lots of fun, wait 'til you see the line up!

Welcome to The Craft's Meow July release blog hop. All 5 new sets are now available in The Craft's Meow store. You should have arrived here from Amy's blog. On my card today I used stamps from the new Vintage Baby stamp set. I love the chalkboard look and the sentiments in this set really lend themselves to this trend.
I stamped the sentiment using VersaMark ink onto some black cardstock and heat embossed in white. Then I rubbed the surface randomly with a white pigment ink pad. I also added some white "chalk" lines using a white coloring pencil. I like to add a bit of color so I used some blending chalks over some of the text for a subtle touch of color.
I used an argyle embossing folder on the background and some Core'dinations cardstock. Next up on the hop is Deborah! You have the chance to WIN all 5 new stamp sets by leaving a comment on the DT's blogs and on the TCM blog, the deadline to comment is 8pm PDT Tuesday July 23rd. Enjoy the rest of the hop! : )

There are two different circles with five different sentiments in this set. I just love the handwriting font! I used the circles and some of the sentiments to stamp my background. Cardstock is from Core'dinations.

Welcome to Day 3 of the July release previews at The Craft's Meow, I hope you're enjoying the new stamp sets! Today the team are having a look at Welcome to the Office designed by Karen Baker. This is such a cool set, really original and useful too! It's a winner for sure!
There are so many great elements in this set and it's a larger size too, 8x6. It includes a wheelie chair, stapler, paperclip, lamp with illumination, coffee cup stain and tons of great sentiments! You're going to love it! For my second card I stamped a fun multi-colored paperclip background!
I do love larger sentiments and the fonts are just perfect in this set. Lots of the sentiments are separate so you can stamp them in different colors.
Don't forget to leave a comment on the TCM blog to be in with a chance of winning a stamp set, the deadline for leaving a comment is 8pm PDT. I'll be back tomorrow with previews of another stamp set! See you then! : )

I've some pretty vintage cards on the Core'dinations blog today featuring Graphic45 French Country Collection and Signature Series. Here's two of them, you'll have to pop over to the Core'dinations blog to see the third!
Embossing with Core'dinations cardstock is still like magic to me, check out the detail in the embossed background, I used the Anna Griffin Juliet Damask embossing folder and sandpapered the embossed surface. Here's another creation using the Graphic45 French Country Collection with a richer color palette.
I used some more Signature Series on this card and embossed the background using Anna Griffin Rosa embossing folder. That gorgeous sticker is from Graphic45 French Country Stickers.
Don't forget to pop over to the Core'dinations blog for more details and see my third card! I'll be back tomorrow with day 3 of previews with The Craft's Meow. Thanks for dropping by! : )
Hi and welcome to Day 2 of The Craft's Meow July release previews. Today the DT are previewing a gorgeous vintage stamp set designed by Nina B Designs - Vintage Baby. I love the details in this set, it's a must have set if you love vintage images!
I stamped the image using Coffee Archival ink and inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. For the card base I used some Core Impressions Basic Grey Ornate Collection from Core'dinations along with some Jillian Dot, I just love pre-embossed cardstock. For my next card I went with a slightly less obvious color combo for a baby card.
Here I used the tag stamp from the Vintage Baby stamp set, colored with some Distress Markers and inked with Distress Inks. I love that this tag is ready to go, tag shape, image and sentiment all in one! The second sentiment on the card is from the same set.
Again I used some cardstock from Core Impressions Basic Grey Ornate Collection from Core'dinations, I love the pink core revealed once sanded on this brown cardstock, such a fab contrast.
Don't forget to leave a comment on the TCM blog to be in with a chance of winning a stamp set, the deadline for leaving a comment is 8pm PDT. I'll be back tomorrow with previews of a really awesome office inspired stamp set, it's SO cool! : )
Hello! It's week three already with Jocelyn Olson as our muse at CASE Study. Check out Jocelyn's vibrant card this week! It's fabulous!
Ok, I interpreted certain elements in this card, the overlapping teardrop shapes I represented as feathers and I went for pastel versions of the colors.
I love these gorgeous feathers!! I used Fancy Feathers from Clearly Besotted Stamps, there are some really great feather stamps on the market right now but I just love that these feather stamps have matching dies - Fancy Feathers Die Collection! I really love that peacock feather!!! Here I stamped them onto vellum using VersaMark then heat embossed (gently) in white. Then I inked them using Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean).
The sentiment is a sneak preview from the upcoming July release at The Craft's Meow, it from the new Circle It stamp set. We'll be previewing it on Saturday!
Don't forget to visit the CASE Study blog and check out what the rest of the design team have created!
Oh yes and just a little reminder that CASE Study will be turning 3 at the beginning of August and we're having a little celebration, should be lots of fun!! : )

Welcome to Day 1 of The Craft's Meow July release previews. Today the DT are previewing two fun stamp sets Turtle Love and Hogs and Kisses designed by Mindy Baxter.
Aren't these just adorable, I love that turtle! I used Distress Markers and created a watercolor look using a wet paintbrush, very easy with Distress Markers. Here's my second card, here I used Hogs and Kisses. There's a great selection of fun sentiments in this set.
Again I used Distress Markers and created a watercolor effect on this card. So if you love cute character stamps these will be right up your street!
Don't forget to leave a comment on the TCM blog to be in with a chance of winning a stamp set, the deadline for leaving a comment is 8pm PDT. I'll be back tomorrow with previews of some fabulous vintage inspired stamps!! : )

Just popping in to share a card I have in this great special issue from Paper Crafts Magazine (US) - Birthday Creations Vol.3. It's jam packed full of stunning designs! My card is on page 79, mine is the quilled card on the right, I'm sharing a page with the talented Nina Yang!
Here's a pic of my card before I sent it off. The quilled elements weren't too tricky to make, they just took a while and the hardest part was arranging them on the card! I love the fresh feel to it though!

Yay! I actually found time to make a card for the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge, it's a special occasion because it's the 100th sketch!! Quite the achievement for my talented friend Chupa, check out the fab sketch. I love this sketch, very easy to work with, so why not play along, I do believe there is a great prize up for grabs!
I used some of my favorite products to make this card. The beautiful blooms I stamped using Happiness Is stamp set from The Craft's Meow onto some Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock (Tim Holtz & Ranger Adirondack Collection) and I added some shading using Distress Markers. The sentiment sticker is from Sticker Sentiments Thank You from SRM Stickers, I also added some Sticker Stitches and Strawberry Twine.
I made the card base from some Basic Grey Core Impressions Ornate Collection from Core'dinations and I lightly sanded it with my Sand It Gadget. I love this design and color! The vintage lace is from my stash and I just layered it over some Kraft cardstock.
Thanks for dropping by and don't forget to visit the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge page on Chupa's blog for some more inspiration. It's still hot here by the way! The heatwave continues! : )
