I had a few minutes this afternoon so I whipped up a card! I combined a couple of challenges, the City Crafter Challenge theme this week is 'Take Flight' (you had to include something with wings!), the colors are from the Play Date Cafe color challenge and the doily is for my friend Debbie's Blog Birthday Celebration Challenge (there's a lovely prize on offer!) Oh and this is also for the Perfectly Placed Pleats Challenge at The Moxie Fab World.
The sentiment is from Fancy Phrases by Waltzingmouse Stamps, stamped with Sage VersaMagic. The lovely lace and stamped doily are from Sylvia (my swap partner for the Lace and Doily Swap at the City Crafter Party Blog) The buttons are from my mixed bag of buttons.
I used a little white acrylic paint on the edges of the card and sentiment. The big butterfly is Glimmer Chips - Nature by Tattered Angels. The piece of fabric behind the doily is a bit of bandage. Nothing is safe when it comes to finding materials for cardmaking!! : )
