YAY!! It's the CASE Study 1st Anniversary Blog Hop!! Today we're having a celebratory blog hop with the CASE Study designers and muses. The theme of the event is CASEing one of the DT gals past or present! You can link up your card as usual on the CASE Study blog. There are some cool prizes to be won along the way, all you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is to join in the hop and leave a comment. Don't miss out. I've some pretty things to give away!!! Ok, so here's my card for the hop.
The designer I chose to CASE is Andrea Ewen, here's her fabulous card. It's one of my all time fav's of Andrea. My version is pretty monochromatic but I wanted to focus on the elements and texture of the card. I CASEd the layout, the wonderful bow and flower cluster, the text page. Isn't Andrea's card stunning!!
I used some pretty yellow gingham, lace applique, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from Fancy Phrases by Waltzingmouse Stamps.
The yellow background paper I stamped using one of the motifs from Ovals - Classic Frames by Waltzingmouse Stamps. The white card I embossed with a script embossing folder and distressed the edges.
Ok now on to the the prize that I'm giving away on my blog. I put together a color co-ordinated little package of scrunchy seam binding, some paper flowers, lace appliques, diamonte trinket pins, pearl trinket pins, mini cameos, large cameos and some bird embellishments.
The cameos I made from Fimo, hand painted and added to a little tag.
The mini cameos I also made.
The pearl trinket pins I made too.
I left the bird embellishments white but you can paint them to match your card if you like.
There's 5 yards of each color of seam binding.
And some pretty flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
So to be in with a chance of winning this lovely lot just leave a comment here on my blog before Tuesday night. One lucky winner will be picked randomly!! Winner announced on Wednesday! Don't miss out on all the other prizes up for grabs along the way, check out the other blogs!!
If you're participating in the blog hop you should have arrived here from Cindy's blog. You should be hopping on to Cristina's blog next. To start at the beginning just visit the CASE Study blog. Oh I hope I haven't forgotten anything. Have fun hopping!!!!
